Boone County Fiscal Court was presented with a  Federal Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) grant at a ceremony held on April 18, 2023 at the Northern Kentucky Area Development District. The $660,000 grant was presented by Governor Andy Beshear and members of the Northern Kentucky Legislative Caucus led by State Senator John Schickel. 

The funding will assist in with intersection improvements on Southpark Drive at KY 237 in Hebron. 

"The state CMAQ grant supporting intersection improvements at South Park Drive in the Hebron corridor will  improve traffic flow, assist the businesses community and enhance the quality of life for our citizens in this vibrant part of Boone County. The partnership between the county and the Commonwealth of Kentucky demonstrates how we can have a powerful and positive impact by working together to invest in communities." said Judge/Executive Gary Moore.
