On March 6, 2024, the Boone County Planning Commission Board scheduled a Public Hearing at the request of the Long Range Planning/Comp Plan Committee to present and hear comments regarding the statement of Goals and Objectives of the Boone County Comprehensive Plan, Our Boone County – Plan 2045.  The statement of Goals and Objectives act as a guide for the preparation of the remaining Elements/Chapters of the comprehensive plan, Our Boone County – Plan 2045 in accordance with KRS Chapter 100. The Public Hearing will be held on April 17, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Boone County Fiscal Courtroom. The statement of Goals and Objectives of the Boone County Comprehensive Plan, Our Boone County – Plan 2045 is currently available for public comment online at https://online.encodeplus.com/regs/boonecounty-ky-cp/.

All comments received via the link above between March 7, 2024 and 5:00 PM April 17, 2024 will be entered into the public record at the April 17, 2024 Public Hearing.

The Boone County Historic Preservation Review Board, pursuant to KRS 61.826, will conduct a scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. via video teleconference. To receive a link to the virtual meeting, please contact the Planning Commission’s Preservation Planner (bstriker@boonecountyky.org) by Thursday, April 11, 2024 @12:00 noon EST.
