Conservation and Natural Resources Scholarships Available!

Applications for the Boone County Conservation District scholarship are now available through the district office. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who are enrolled in one of the following fields of study: natural resource conservation, forestry, soil science, ecology, wildlife science or agriculture.

 

Applicants must be Boone County residents. High school students planning to enter college in the fall of 2018, as well as students currently attending college, are eligible to apply. Previous scholarship recipients are eligible to apply. Applications must be postmarked or returned to the district office by Wednesday, January 31, 2018.  Recipients will be notified by March 1.
