Commissioner Charlie Walton
At 63 years old, Charlie Walton has spent much of his life as a public servant. His career includes 12 years as a State Representative in the General Assembly in addition to his 38 years of educational experience. Charlie has been the principal at Florence Elementary for the last several years. His community service includes serving as a member of these boards: 21st Century Community Learning Center State Board, After School Alliance Board, Boone County Community Education Advisory Council. He is a former board member of Boone National Bank, Kentucky Baptist Children's Home, and Northern Kentucky Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Charlie and his wife, residents of Florence, have two children and 3 grandchildren.
