On Sunday, March 2, 2008 at approximately 10:37 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. respectively there were two shooting incidents reported at two adjacent mobile home parks located in Florence, Kentucky. No one was injured in the related incidents.
The first one reported was in the 200 block of Greenlawn Drive at Greenlawn Mobile Home Park. The second one was in the 10,000 block of Bruce Drive in Mosby’s Point Mobile Home Park. Investigators believe the single shots in both incidents originated from nearby streets indicating the shooter(s) could have been in a vehicle.
The occupants or their silhouettes in both incidents would have been seen from the shooter’s perspective leading investigators to believe they were targeted. The Boone County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigation Division has yet to determine identity of the shooter(s) or the motive behind them and is urging anyone with information to contact either Crime Stoppers at 513.352.3040 or the Sheriff’s Department at 859.334.2175.
