On Sunday, January 18, 2009 at approximately 9:30 p.m. a Covington, Kentucky man was arrested for sexually abusing a 13 year old girl while she napped in her home at a mobile home park near Florence, Kentucky.
Jackie Marcum, 34 of Covington was charged with Sexual Abuse 1st degree and Tampering with physical evidence. Marcum admitted to digitally penetrating the victim, an acquaintance at approximately 5:30 p.m. that day.
Both offenses are Class D felonies carrying penalties of one to five years in the state penitentiary. Marcum is being held in the Boone County Detention Center in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
