On Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. investigators arrested a Florence, Kentucky man for the statutory rape of a Burlington, Kentucky girl.
Trevin Wehmeyer, 21 of the 2300 block of Wicket Court in Florence, Kentucky is charged with Rape 3rd degree for having sex with a 15 year old girl on December 23, 2009.
Wehmeyer is currently being held in the Boone County Detention Center. Bond has not been set yet. Rape 3rd degree is a Class D felony punishable by 1 to 5 years in the state penitentiary.
