The Boone County Sheriff’s Department has been investigating a report of a possible child enticement incident in Hebron, Kentucky on Sunday, November 8, 2009.
An 11 year old reported she was in her family’s front yard on Lauren Meadows Drive in Hebron when she said a heavyset man in his 40’s or 50’s driving a red pickup truck with white stripes asked her to get into his truck. She said she ran to a neighbor’s house and the man left the area.
Investigators have been diligently following up on the initial report and also follow–up ghost sightings since Sunday only to discover there is no evidence to suggest it occurred. Even though this case proved unfounded Sheriff Helmig reminds parents to remain ever vigilant when it comes to the safety of their children.
