On Friday, September 18, 2009 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Boone County Sheriff’s investigators executed an arrest warrant on a noncompliant sex offender.
George Slayback Jr., 45 was charged with Failure to comply with sex offender registration and Persistent felony offender 1st degree. Detectives obtained the warrant after they performed an unannounced verification check at his last registered address of 284 Melinda Lane near Florence, Kentucky on Tuesday, August 25, 2009.
Slayback is being held in the Boone County Detention Center in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
