On Sunday, August 16, 2009 at approximately 1:05 a.m. a Chicago, Illinois man was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender after it was determined he had been staying in a Hebron, Kentucky home.
Otis Povaleri, 40 of Chicago, Illinois was charged with Alcohol intoxication, Giving officer a false name, and Failure to comply with sex offender registry after Deputy Nate Boggs located him in a vehicle at the end of Youell Road near the airport property.
Povaleri had been staying with his sister, Julie Clark, in her home located in the 2600 block of Berwood Lane in Hebron for the last 7 – 10 days. He remains in the Boone County Detention Center in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
