On Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Boone County Sheriff’s investigators charged a thirty year old man with the sexual molestation of a fourteen year old girl that occurred in December of 2008.
Detective Everett Stahl charged Billy Smith Jr., 30 of the 400 block of Sunnybrook Drive near Florence, Kentucky with Sexual Abuse 1st degree, a Class D felony punishable by 1 -5 years in the state penitentiary. Smith is lodged in the Boone County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
In order to protect the identity of the child I can only say she is an acquaintance.
