On Friday, January 16, 2009 at approximately 12:00 p.m. a Florence, Kentucky woman had her wallet stolen out of her purse while shopping at the Kroger Store located at 1751 Patrick Drive in Burlington, Kentucky.
Within half an hour later an unidentified man used the woman’s Huntington Bank debit card to purchase $1100.00 worth of American Express gift cards from the Meijer Store located at 4990 Houston Road in Florence, Kentucky. The man is described as a black man of medium height and weight wearing a light colored dress shirt, dark slacks, and a dark overcoat with short black hair and a neatly trimmed beard.
Boone County Sheriff’s investigators are urging anyone with information as to the identity of the man pictured (see link below) to call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040 or the Sheriff’s Department at 334-2175.
