Welcome to the Boone County Building Department homepage. Through building code enforcement, we're making a difference in our community. The primary purpose of this department is to ensure safe minimum levels of construction through enforcement of the Kentucky Building Code and Kentucky Residential Code. This is closely followed by the enforcement of the Boone County Zoning Regulations, which provides for orderly growth of our community.
