RESIDENTIAL FEE STRUCTURE

| The following formula will be utilized in the establishment of the construction costs for residential building permits: |

| Basements (Unfinished) |
$12 per sq. ft. |
|

|

| Garages (attached) |
$10 per sq. ft. |

| Garages (Detached) |
$15 per sq. ft. |
|
| |
|
|
|
| Finished Basement |
$22 sq. ft. |
|
| |
|
|
|
| Sidewalk-Apron Inspection Fee |

|
| |
|
|
|
| Decks & Storage Sheds |

up to 200 sq. ft. $5 for each additional 100 sq. ft. or fraction thereof |

If the cost of construction submitted by the builder on the permit application is greater than this fee schedule, fees will be based on the construction costs noted on the application.
**Any project started before obtaining a permit shall be charged double per Boone County Ordinance 930.9, Section VI.** |
