The 2008 Boone County Great American Cleanup was awesome!

April 26 was a big day in Boone County. Though it was cold, windy, and soggy, one hundred and eighty-eight volunteers came out across the County to help cleanup litter. Seventeen dumpster loads of garbage were removed from our beautiful communities, all thanks to our tireless volunteers and as well as the hard workers from the City of Florence Public Services, the City of Walton, and Boone County Public Works.

Thank You!

Of course, we owe much gratitude to the volunteers!
Could we even have a Great American Cleanup without our awesome volunteers to help cleanup? Of course not. It is the folks that selflessly give their time, energy, and passion that make cleaner communities and more enjoyable environments for all us. Our volunteers rule.

Special thanks to the Rabbit Hash Historical Society, Florence Baptist Temple, and Ryle High School?s FFA.
