Every year, Boone County hosts several cleanups.

January: Christmas Treecycling
March: Litter Cleanup Projects (weather permitting) and Commonwealth Cleanup Week
April: Great American Cleanup, Earth Day and Spring Cleanup
June: River Sweep
October: Fall Cleanup
Late October/Early November: HHW Collection Event (grant driven)
