Mission Statement of Boone County Solid Waste Management

To uphold the Mission Statement of Boone County – Simply the Best Service.
To improve the management of solid waste in Boone County to conserve resources, develop sustainable recycling markets, and protect public health and safety, and the environment. This is accomplished in partnership with other public agencies, industry, business, educational systems and the public we serve.
To implement the Solid Waste Management Plan and comply with the requirements of the Kentucky Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet.
To achieve its mission in an equitable, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
