Secretary of the Interior Kempthorne Announces Boone County to Receive Preserve America Grant

Washington, DC - Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne today announced the final round of Preserve America grants for 2007, and Boone County was selected as one of the twenty-nine grant recipients. In all there were 29 recipients of Preserve America grants; this final round of funding is set to provide $2.26 million for projects in 20 states representing all regions of the country.
