Boone Tunnel’s Under Way

Boone Projects Get Federal Boost
BURLINGTON, KY–Three long–awaited Boone County projects have received $1.25 million in federal funds. The funding is among $51.9 million awarded statewide for projects such as streetscapes, traffic improvements, and walking and biking paths. Boone County ends fiscal year with surplus
BURLINGTON, KY–Despite dire budget predictions last fall, Boone County ended the fiscal year well in the black. "To do that in this economy is truly a tribute to the administration and to the staff," Judge-executive Gary Moore said. General fund revenue fell $1.28 million short of projections, but the county slashed operating expenditures by $2.05 million, according to a year-end financial report.

Boone County’s River Sweep Enjoys Sweeping Success!
BOONE COUNTY, KY – Over 340 volunteers showed up to make a difference in Northern Kentucky and worked to remove 30,000 lbs. of garbage from the Ohio riverbanks.
