2008 DELINQUENT BOONE COUNTY TAXES

The following 2008 delinquent property tax bills will be offered for sale by the Boone County Sheriff at the Boone County Sheriff’s Office on April 10th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.

Offers to purchase these bills can be submitted in writing beginning March 20th, 2009 and must be received in this office by April 3rd, 2009. Offers to purchase can be made in person on the date and time shown above. Offers should be mailed to Boone County Sheriff, P.O. Box 198 Burlington, KY 41005.

The private purchaser of a delinquent tax bill will be issued a certificate of delinquency which represents a lien upon the real estate described on the face of the tax bill. Interest, at the rate of 12% per annum, accrues upon this certificate from the date of issuance.
