2007 Delinquent Boone County Taxes

The following 2007 delinquent property tax bills will be offered for sale by the Boone County Sheriff at the Boone County Courthouse on March 31, 2008 at 1:00.

Offers to purchase these bills can be submitted in writing beginning March 17, 2008 and must be received in this office by March 28, 2008. Offers to purchase can be made in person on the date and time shown above. Offers should be mailed to Boone County Sheriff, P.O. Box 198 Burlington, KY 41005.  Tax claims are to be sold for cash only.

The private purchaser of a delinquent tax bill will be issued a certificate of delinquency which represents a lien upon the real estate described on the face of the tax bill.  Interest, at the rate of 12% per annum, accrues upon this certificate from the date of issuance.
