Animal Control Officer – Part–Time
Boone County Fiscal Court now hiring for PT Animal Control Officer – this position is a dedicated position involving knowledge in public service, law enforcement and animal shelter operations.
Responsible for the enforcement of state and local animal control laws within Boone County. Provides quality services, protection and compassion to citizens and animals and assists in the general
operation of the Animal Shelter. Must meet state requirements for peace officer. Must be over 21; possess a valid drivers license; available to be on call 24 hours a day; have a high school diploma or
equivalency and successfully pass a police back ground check. Will be scheduled to work 20 hours per week and required to do after hours emergency call outs.

FT/Seasonal Maintenance Technician
Boone County Fiscal Court now hiring a FT/Seasonal Maintenance Technician.
This is semi–skilled work in the performance of assisting in the general maintenance of County facilities and assisting maintenance technicians in the fields electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related systems of County property. Must be able to work with Jail inmates and to adhere to the County Jail guidelines.
Must have a valid driver’s license and must be able to lift 50 pounds.
This is a FT/Seasonal position of 9 months with an hourly rate of $10.00.
