Boone County Fiscal Court now accepting applications for a full time Laborer position. This is a position within the Public Works Department with a wide variety of duties pertaining to the maintenance or roads, storm sewers, bridges and drainage structures with in Boone County.
Assists Crew Leaders with general maintenance of County right–of–ways, roads and storm sewer systems including on the job training as needed. Assists with servicing and maintenance of equipment and tools; operates vehicles, trucks and equipment as needed for construction work; assists with snow removal operations.
Possession of a valid Commonwealth of Kentucky driver’s license.
Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Commonwealth of Kentucky Class B commercial driver’s license.

PSCC is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the position of 911 Dispatcher. Must be at least 18 years of age, high school graduate or equivalent, valid driver’s license, adequate computer/typing skills, must be physically and mentally able to work under stressful conditions. Applicants must also pass a police background check, polygraph, physical and psychological examination, and able to work weekends, holidays and a variety of shifts.
