Field Staff Position – Part–Time
The Boone County PVA Office is looking for an eager and efficient Field Staff Employee to fill a part-time position. Employee would be responsible for measuring residential homes and noting property characteristics in mass quantity. In addition, there would be basic internal office work. Compensation: $20,000/year
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with the general public and office staff at all levels. Basic computer proficiency and knowledge with the ability to prepare reports and process information. Basic analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to read measuring devices, sketch buildings and calculate square footage. Ability to plan, organize, schedule and complete work assignments on a timely basis in an environment where interruptions can occur. Ability to walk around construction sites and residential properties during all seasons and weather conditions. Ability to walk a minimum of 6 hours per day and ability to climb, stoop and bend to perform on site reviews of all types of buildings. Must have valid driver’s license

IT Specialist Position – Part–Time
The Boone County Property Valuation Office is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a part–time IT specialist position. This part–time position is equivalent to 99 hours a month with some flexibility on weekly hours.
The IT specialist is the primary IT person for a small government office and is responsible for hardware, software, website support and creative programming.
Qualifications:
Candidate should be familiar with SQL Databases, Crystal Reporting, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Access with the ability to learn and master new software. Candidate should be eager, efficient, possess the ability to think outside the box and
be able to come up with innovative ways to streamline data. Candidate should be willing to learn the ideas and concepts relative to the Property Valuation Office. Salary≈$20,000/year
