Commissioner Cathy Flaig
Cathy Hudson Flaig, Commissioner for District 1, is a native of Boone County. She was raised in Florence and is the daughter of the late Dr. William and Mildred Hudson. Cathy attended Florence Elementary School and Boone County High School. She also attended Campbell Business College and Northern Kentucky University.
Cathy is the wife of Robert Flaig. Bob and Cathy were high school sweethearts and are the parents of two sons, David and Daniel. Together with her husband Bob, they own and operate Flaig Welding Co., Inc. in Hebron. They have worked together for most of the last 40 years of their married life. They are members of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.
Cathy is very involved in bettering her community. She enjoys, among other things, her involvement in the following organizations:
