Emergency Response Equipment
BCEM Units 282 & 280 are 2003 and 2004 Ford Expeditions. The vehicles are issued to the two Deputy Directors. The vehicles are equipped with a full-range of communications and emergency response equipment.

BCEM Unit 373 - is a 1981 International/Hackney Squad apparatus that has been configured to carry needed hazardous materials response equipment. The unit is housed at the Hebron Fire Protection District and is staffed on a 24 hour basis.

HazMat Unit 123 - is a 2005 Ford F550 Utility Vehicle that has been configured to carry hazardous materials response supplies. The unit is stationed at Florence Fire/EMS and is staffed on a 24 hour basis.

BCEM Unit 298 - is a 28’ cargo trailer that has been equipped with Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) and Hazmat Patient Decontamination equipment. The unit is housed at Florence Fire/EMS and staffed on a 24-hour basis.

Incident Management and Communications Unit 299 - serves as a mobile incident management and communications unit. The unit is self-powered, rapidly deployable, and is capable of numerous functions that are desirable in times of emergency.

Mobile Decontamination Unit 297 – is a 1998 ACS Mobile Decontamination Unit configured for ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients. The unit is equipped with: 6 – separate shower stations, 2 180,000 BTU Instantaneous Water Heaters, 2 – 10 kW generators, 1 – 500 gallon gray water collection tank, and a positive pressure ventilation system.
