Burn Ban in Northern Kentucky
Burn Ban:
During the months of May,June,July,August,and Sept. the only open burning activities allowed are fires set for:
1.) the cooking of food for human consumption;
2.) prevention of a fire hazard;
3.) the purpose of a bona fide instruction and training of public and industrial employees in the methods of a fire hazard;
4.) reconized agricultural, silvicultural range and wildlife management practices;
5.)recreational or cermonial purposes;
6.) spill management ( must have permission from the KY Dept. of Enviromental Protection (859)525-4923)
