The mission of the Boone County Conservation District is to conserve and promote the best use of the natural resources of the county by encouraging the use of Best Management Practices, district involvement with land use policy decisions, public awareness and education.
Land Management Workshop Thurs. 21 May
(07 May 2009, Burlington, KY) The Boone County Conservation District is sponsoring a workshop especially for those work or volunteer for agencies and organizations that have public lands in their trust. Private landowners and other interested people are also welcome. For the Common Good: Public Land Management, will be held on Thursday 21 May, 2009, from 1:00?4:00 p.m. at England/Idlewild Park, 5550 Idlewild Road, Burlington. We will meet at Shelter #1 and walk to sites in the park. The workshop features six speakers and a variety of resource materials will also be available.

The Boone County Conservation Board meets on the Third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at their offices in the Lower Level of the Boone County Extension Service building, 6028 Camp Ernst Road.
